Independence Solar Completes 196 kW Rooftop Installation on New Headquarters for ActionPak, Inc.

November 24, 2020 – CAMDEN, NJ – ActionPak, Inc., a nationwide source for contract manufacturing, product assembly and co-packing, announces the completion of a 196 kW rooftop solar installation on its new 200,000 square foot, state-of-the-art packaging facility located at 1600 River Avenue in Camden, NJ. The 491 solar panels will offset 20% of the electric usage at the newly constructed building.

We sat down with Independence Solar and reviewed the numbers for solar energy. October 6, 2020 – BRIDGEPORT, NJ – Independence Solar announces the completion of a 480 kW rooftop solar array for SEW Eurodrive USA in partnership with Carbon Lighthouse, Inc. The 1,216 solar panels provide 100% of the annual electricity requirements for this Northeast Region Assembly Center of SEW Eurodrive in Bridgeport, NJ. SEW Eurodrive is a world leader in drive technology and a pioneer in drive-based automation. Carbon Lighthouse implements energy solutions to reduce emissions while creating profit for building owners.

SEW Eurodrive had already implemented a long-term partnership with Carbon Lighthouse at SEW Eurodrive facilities throughout the U.S. to optimize energy performance. Carbon Lighthouse utilized their patented CLUES software platform to build a customized energy model for SEW Eurodrive. In addition to energy management, Carbon Lighthouse identified the Bridgeport, NJ facility as an ideal location for a rooftop solar installation.
