Material Handling Supply, Inc (MHS Lift), the leading provider of lift trucks and material handling parts and services in the Mid-Atlantic, proudly announces the completion of a rooftop solar energy installation at their corporate headquarters located at 6965 Airport Hwy Lane in Pennsauken, NJ. The 293 kW installation consists of 902 rooftop solar panels that will offset 100% of the building’s electric usage.

Brett Levin, Vice President of MHS Lift, commented “We studied solar energy for years before making the decision to go with solar. As a stakeholder in MHS Lift, solar reduces our operating costs and allows us to reinvest in our organization. As a stakeholder in our planet, solar reduces our dependence on fossil fuels and helps to reverse climate change. Solar is a win for MHS Lift, for our employees and for our customers.
We were very pleased with Independence Solar. They handled every aspect of solar for us – from supporting our financing team, to integrating with our new roof and handing over the project to our internal operations team. I would completely trust Independence Solar to deliver a seamless turnkey project.”
Keith Peltzman, President at Independence Solar, shared: “We are honored that MHS Lift selected Independence Solar. We deeply appreciate the trust MHS Lift placed in us to construct and maintain solar on their headquarters.
