Keith Peltzman | President
Keith founded Independence Solar in 2007. Prior to Independence Solar, Keith worked for Allco Renewables, US Solar Finance and Verterra Renewables, managing the financial analysis and development of over $300 million of solar, wind and biomass projects. Prior to launching Independence Solar, Keith worked on M&A at groSolar, a leading solar distributor and installer. Keith holds a B.S. from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and an M.B.A from MIT, where he focused on the economics of solar.
James Schwartz | Vice President
James has over 10 years experience in the development, financing, construction, and operation of renewable energy projects. Prior to joining Independence Solar, James was responsible for the development of over 10 MW of commercial PV projects for Spire Solar in the New England and Mid-Atlantic regions. James also led the installation of more than 3,000 MW of wind energy systems as a senior manager for Second Wind Inc. James holds a B.A from Colorado College and an M.B.A from MIT.
